Data protection
Privacy and your data
Briefly, in order: what data we receive, why we need it, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
1. Who we are
The controller of your data is Apartments Lake Bohinj (Apartmaji Bohinjsko jezero), Robert Cvetek, Ukanc 78a, 4265 Bohinjsko jezero, Slovenia. Email: apartments.bohinj.lake@gmail.com, phone: +386 41 678 335.
2. What we collect and why
The enquiry form on this site stores nothing and sends nothing. When you press the button, your own email program opens with the message already written, and you send it yourself. So we only receive what you send us: your name, email address, phone number if you add it, dates, number of guests and your message. We use this data to reply to you and, if we agree on a stay, for that stay.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.), which processes visitors' IP addresses in short-lived server logs for security and to deliver the pages.
Cloudflare also records anonymous visit statistics on the site (Cloudflare Web Analytics): the pages opened, load speed, browser type and country. It uses no cookies, does not store your IP address and builds no visitor profiles.
3. What we do not use
The site uses no cookies, ads or advertising tracking. The fonts are served from our own server, and the map opens only when you click the link to Google Maps, so the site itself sends no requests to Google.
4. How long we keep data
We keep enquiries as long as we need them to reply and for your stay. Invoicing data is kept as long as the law requires.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access your data and to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability. Write to us at apartments.bohinj.lake@gmail.com. If you think we are not handling your data properly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner of Slovenia (www.ip-rs.si).
